USB drive not visible for backup destination

I've created a Linux boot disk to backup my Windows laptop. When I boot using the boot disk I created I can select all the partitions available and also see a USB drive...

I want to backup to the USB drive (or the network) but neither of them are visible options in the backup destinations.

I've rebuilt the boot drive but can't see any options I've missed and have added the licensing available to me.
I'd understand that there might be network drivers missing but if I can see the USB drive in the backup source why can't I see it in the backup destination.
