WebDav and mapped folders

I just purchase of the several advanced licenses to setup our remote office laptops for backups and I am frustrated.

I have setup on the machines, shared folders with Webdav and SSL to link to a remote NAS as this would be a secondary place for backups to be copied to. I have been un-able to use this as a location as well any mapped drives, this seems really odd to me! FTP is an option, but un-secured. SFTP might be the way to go, but the NAS does not really support this. QNAP is the vendor and although they do have SFTP it is only for the admin of the box.

Even just plain mapped drives don't seem to be an option. Are mapped drives or Webdav not supported by Acronis?

Mapped drives exists only in the session of currently logged in user, and are unaccessible to Acronis services running in background. Did you consider setting up Storage Node with a managed vault on this NAS?
