Which Acronis Enetrprise product for reduce Planned DownTime

Hello Guys,
I am knew in Acronis Enterprise Software and I would like to implement it for my customer who requires reduce planned maintenance update:
The current scenario is not still clear (physical or virtual machines) but the requirement is:
reduce downtime by using altenative machines (physical or virtual) to replace the ones when they are under maintenance and therefore not available.

The possible scenarios will be:
1) OPTION 1
- 3 physical machines running respectively: Application 1, Application 2 and SQL server 2008 (the data storage is external as SAS attached storage).
- 1 Physical Machine hosting VmWare Esxi 5.1. The VmWare host 3 VM machines (it host the physical machines but converted as virtual machines)
The VMs run when the related Physical Machine is under maintenance and therefore not available.
Which is the Enterprise ACRONIS product to accomplish the requirement?

2) OPTION 2
- The customer prefers at the moment not use VmWare but carry on working with Physical Machines.
In this case it looks like the the solution is to have 6 machines (3 as the machines and 3 as backup and used only when the machines are out of services)
Furthermore, the customer is not happy to have 6 machines, in particular 3 out of 6 out used only when the related machines are out of services).
Which suggestion and Enterprise ACRONIS product do you suggest to accomplish the requirement?
