WinPE Cloning Disk fails during target selection

Thread needs solution

Just upgraded to 11.7 (build 44421) - just bought two new drives to upgrade my system. Had trouble using the Win7 GUI version when cloning the C drive (SSD 60Gb --> SSD 250Gb). Made bootable media and was able to clone the SSD.

Now on to the spinning media. Using the same bootable media (booting to WinPE x64 with UEFI support) I attempted the following clone operation.

Source Disk 3 (Basic MBR) 2Tb --> Target Disk 1 (Basic GPT) 4Tb.

When I click on the Disk 3 and select Clone, I get the following error report: (unable to cut and paste)

Code: 0x00950013 (DiskBundleEx_glxa64_pic_44421) Probe has failed.

Code 0x00360194 (DiskBundleEx_glxa64_pic_44421) Fdisk probe has failed.

Code 0x00103003 (DiskBundleEx_glxa64_pic_44421) Not enough space to carry out the operation.

I tried going to the errorcode search and entering the three errorcodes separated by "+" characters. The search yielded no result.  I saw in the forum that a similar problem was had back in 2009 but no solutions were provided.

Any ideas?

brief update...
I have also just tried the WinPE 32bit and the full Win7 11.7 GUI. No luck with either of those. The WinPE versions both throw those error reports. The 11.7 GUI doesn't throw any errors.  None of them show Disk 1 as an available target eventhough it is in the Basic Disks list.  It currently shows in that list: Disk 1 Basic GPT 3.639TB Healthy with 3.639TB unallocated.
