Workaround: disk backups failed with active "Brother MFC-260 USB Device"

Thread needs solution

I wanted to share a workaround for disk backups, that failed for me with error code 0x0009005E.
The only article that contains it is only about ATIH2012 (http://kb.acronis.com/content/32493), while i had ABR 11.5.32308.
It was necessary to disable the printers card reader in Windows device manager: "Brother MFC-260 USB Device"

The issue that remained then was, that the ABR disk management could not be used:
