You Cannot change the license server for the machine because the machine is registered on the management server

Thread needs solution

My Advanced Server 11.5 (build 3) server (license server) is down and being rebuilt. I am trying to change workstation license to stand-alone license. On some workstations, the "Change" button is grayed out. It says "You cannot change the license server for the machine because the machine is registered on the management server."

Any idea?

It's important that the account you use to connect to remote machines, not the service user, be the Member of 'Acronis Remote Users'. Also there is restriction for machines with Vista and above not included in domain - only built-in administrator can be used for remote connections if UAC is on.

Thanks for responding. I am now unstalling build 11.5.32308 and installing (fresh install) 11.5.38573. It seems to have the same problem - "not enough privileges to estblish trust relationship". I randomly compared the groups on each workstation against those that were able to be added to the management server. They seem to be identical.

I seem to be able to add a few workstations (not all) to the management server through the "manage a remote machine" method.

I specifically created a user-account solely for Acronis operation. I even added that account in a local admin group in the server itself. I also verified that the account is in "Acronis Remote Users Group" on the management server and on all 120 workstations.
I am running Win2008 R2 and Win7 Enterprise.

Does the UAC needs to be disabled on Win7 Enterprise workstations that are a member of domain?
