Restored VM has no mouse pointer or NIC interfaces - Acronis Backup 12.5

Thread needs solution

I restored a VM that we had backed up a few weeks ago after having an issue with the SQL server on the machine. Upon restoring the VM, I am no longer able to access it as none of the network interfaces are pingable nor am I able to use a mouse to navigate the VM via browser. Any ideas how I can get this functionality back?

Hello Jason.

I would advise you to check the network configurations of that VM, probably the network issues come from there. I would say those issues with the peripherical hardware comes from there also.

I would advise you to perform the recovery again with a WinPE bootable media ( https://kb.acronis.com/content/59611 )  or create a new VM and settle all the configurations correctly. After install the OS. Once the VM is detected in the console, perform the recovery again.

Thanks in advance.
