Is ABR 11 for msexchange active Directory aware

I have just recently restored an SBS 2003 exchange server after two hard drives failed within two days of one another.
I managed to restore from a good backup image and everything seems to be running ok other than some corruption to the exchange information store which I am working on.
The other issue is with replication as I have a second DC acting as a backup but there is a lingering object issue which I also need to resolve.
My question.
Is ABR 11 AD aware?
My understanding is it is AD aware.
This means I don't need to restore the servers system state which by the way I do have a few good copies of.
Or do I still need to restore the system state?

During bare-metal disk restore it's not AD-aware. If you have two DCs and restored one of them to an older backup, you need to follow the procedure outlined here - http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#22881.h… (it's the same for version 11) and http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#22906.h… .
