Acronis Cyber Backup Standard

Thread needs solution

Recently purchased a new server (sorely needed). Our old server had Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 Advanced Server SBS Edition. Installed Acronis Cyber Backup Standard on the new server.

I need to replicate the backup "scheme" but I am at a loss. The old setup created a FULL backup (200GB+) and incremental (2-5GB) after that until I created a new plan. The FULL image is taken to a remote site and the incremental files are transferred via LogMeIn Hamachi (encrypted) nightly. I know I will need to use .TIB to do this. I created a backup plan, used Version 11 backup and I do get a .TIB file but I don't get the incremental files. Is there an easy way to make Acronis play nice with the TIB files like it used to? Be gentle, I'm old and slow...

Hello Serjio,

welcome to Acronis forums!

Please check your new backup plan whether you selected an Always incremental (single-file) backup scheme.

You can change it to Weekly full, Daily Incremental or select a Custom backup scheme

The FULL image is taken to a remote site and the incremental files are transferred via LogMeIn Hamachi (encrypted) nightly.

You will have to store all full and incrementals in the same backup location. Otherwise, create two separate backup plans:

1) with Always full backup scheme for storing full backups to a remote site

2) with a Custom backup scheme for creating seldom full backups and incrementals each night
