Thread needs solution

Hi All,
I have windows 2008R2 with 2 NICs : 192.168.0.50 and 10.101.0.4. I install AMS on this machine. I can add 192.168.0.50 as first storage node. But I try to add 10.101.0.4 to new storage node the error occurred as attached.

Please help me.

PS. The result that I have 2 NICs is multiple backup subnet serving.

Thanks you

Hello ENGR TU SystemAdmin,

Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

When installing the Acronis Storage Node to a machine with two nic's, you cannot assign specific network addresses to the Acronis Storage Node. If you add it using the first IP address, this is used for connecting and managing with the Acronis Management Server. However the Acronis Storage Node is accessible from both subnets, but you will be not able to define, which subnet is used for the backup data stream.

If a machine is only accessible via subnet A then the Acronis Storage Node is using of course this subnet. For more information please refer to our user guide:

If you need additional assistance, please create a system report of the affected machine and contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you.
