All archives removed by user mistake
Hello,
Product: Acronis backup advanced 11.7.
One of our users removed ALL ARCHIVES from centralized vault by mistake. Compacting task was not run yet, data still occupies diskspace.
Is it possible to revert this actions somehow without restoring data from tapes?

Hello Domas,
Check out my comment here https://forum.acronis.com/comment/408995#comment-408995
Important: make sure you have installed a build higher than 37608, there were some issues with attaching a dedup vault on the lower build versions.
Hope this helps.

Yes I saw it. thank you
My archives are not set for deletion, user has opened vault and wanted remove one archive, but instead of pressing "Delete" on one selected archive, he used "Delete all archives"...
No where is no xml files anymore on root folder of vault...
I only see that unified_data.ds.0 still has 1.6TB of data, but can't see it anymore in AMS console.
There is folders named as .meta and Computers, but there is no xml files here of old archives.
Maybe I am looking at wrong place?

.xml files are used to store metadata in personal and unmanaged vaults, in your case the information about backups is stored in the vault database and we need to re-create it. No guarantee this will help for sure, as this solution usually helps to "undelete" backups marked for deletion in the GUI, but no other hints I'm aware of..
Please make sure to make a copy of all the files you're going to modify according to the steps described below:
- Detach vault containing backups marked for deletion.
- Remove .fdb file from the vault root folder if detach generated it.
- Attach the vault.
The ASN database will be re-indexed based on the actual information about TIBs residing in the vault directory and there will be no backups marked for deletion.
