Back up not deleting old back up copies

Hi.
My name is Gary, I am a PC Technician employed by IMS (Acronis liceincess). I am having ongoing trouble with your Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5.
The PC software is set (under "Edit Back Up Plan" to delete backups older than 14 days but it is not deleting the old copies, causing error with "disk full" message.
Currently I have bypassed this by manually deleting old copies. But obviously want this fixed so it can be automated.
(The PC operating system is Microsoft Vista Ultimate)
I have attached a screen shot of the Edit Back Up Plan screen to help guide you.
Can you please advise of a solution.

There was a bug that setting retention rules in simple scheme after the plan is created doesn't work. Try to edit the plan, switch the scheme to some other (e.g. GFS) then back, and then set both schedule and retention rules. You can export the plan check it as described in http://forum.acronis.com/forum/55594#comment-171275 to see it is it the case.
