Backup error with validation enable
Dear Acronis support,
What I find that the backup job is always got error after activated the validation feature:
Under "How to back up" setting:-
- When to validate: After a full backup is created
- What to validate: The latest backup
There is no problem for the backup if those feature set "Never".
Would you please help to investigate that?
Please also see the attached file of the backup job log for details.

Hello Jeff,
Could you please clarify the following questions:
- What is the number of drives you have in your tape device, the model of drive and auto-loader (if applicable)?
- Do you have options set to eject or unmount the tape after the backup finishes? Does the validation still fail if these options are deactivated?
- Does a separate manual validation also fail with this type of error?

Hi Igor,
Yes, the validation can be done after unchecked "Eject tapes after successful backups" & "Move a tape back to the slot after using" under Backup options > tape management.
