Hi,

Please see my explanation of this particular behavior in the following comment: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/42770#comment-134286 . That thread is related to different product (Acronis Backup for VMware), but it is applicable to Acronis Backup Advanced Server for VMware as well (since the underlying backup algorithm is the same).

In short there are 2 possible workarounds at this moment (until we manage to fix the root cause):
1) Ignore this warning, since the data in the backup is consistent and valid despite the message.
2) Disable application-consistent quiescing of the machine by making a change VMware Tools vmbackup.conf file (see http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cm… for instructions).

The 2nd method is less safe (since it won't quiesce the applications via VSS), though it would let you to get rid of the warning message and get file-system consistent backup (after recovery the VM will be in dirty shutdown state though).

Thank you.
