Backup Plan Report Field Question

Thread needs solution

Good day,

I have a question regarding the field in the Back Plans Report generated with in the AMS.

There is a field in the Details section which mentions "Deployment state" and the value is "16" for all plans.

I would also like to find out what Backed up Data Type means?

I am hoping someone can please let me know what this means. I have a situation where an auditor who is going through the backup reports and is querying this.

I have posted a screenshot from a lab environment which shows the same thing.

Thank you in advance.

Nick

Hello Nick,

thank you for your posting! As per the records in our internal system, this seems to be a known issue with the values for "Deployment state" and "Backed up data type" parameters. The values displayed in the reports should have been like

Deployment state:

  • Deploying
  • Deployed
  • Updating
  • Revoking

Backed up data type:

  • Machines/disks/volumes
  • Files
  • MS SQL
  • MS Exchange

In this particular case we can only suggest trialing Acronis Backup 12.5, where reporting has been improved significantly
