Backup plans not available at the AMS server

Thread needs solution

Hi,

we are using Acronis Trueimage to backup the laptops of our sales users in the company. Everything works fine with that. But one thing I cant explain.
Normally I start Acronis Management Console at my own laptop and connect to our Acronis server. Now I see all the backup plans. And they are all working fine.

But If I work directly at our Acronis server, I can start the Management Console also and it show me that I am connect to the server with the right creddentials but I cant see any backup plan. And also I cant change here to another server like I can do at my laptop where I can choose "manage local" or "connect to an AMS Server".

Have anybody an idea about that?! It would be much easier for our admins if everybody can start the console on the server for change plans and something like this.

Thanks for all information!!

Hello,

Basically, an account used to connect to Acronis Managemen Server should be a member of two security groups: Acronis Centralized Admins and Acronis Remote Users. Take a read of the following part of the docu (Acronis security groups - Acronis Backup Management Server)

The article Acronis Backup: Required User Permissions for Local and Remote Management will also help to add a user account to the necessary groups.
