Backup Problems "acronis backup & Recovery 11.5

Thread needs solution

Good Morning,

Guys

I have a backup run with acronis 11.5 that always worked very well without any more problems, and a few days ago I have a bug "Failed to read data from the disk "the backup and saved in a NAS.
Actions taken
- I have formatted the NAS
- I already recorded a file by robocop and it was alright
- I already reviewed the permissions

If anyone has more suggestions, it will be very welcome.

Hello Bruno,

thank you for your posting! Would you mind sharing more information about the issue?
- Have you tested backup to a new archive? To a different location?
- Do you experience issue only with backing up to the affected archive or with recovery/browsing too?

Please attach the operation log of the failing operation or at least the full text of the error message. A couple of screenshots of the backup settings would be also helpful. Thank you in advance!

Thank you Ekaterina Surkova

I still have not tried to save in another place, I'll try this today to see if it presents the same error, tomorrow I post again what happened.

Look, I let a new backup run on a separate disk, but I ran this error log

Hello Bruno.

The CRC error means a physical error on the source hard drive (plus there was a "Failed to read data from the disk " error when backing up the same disk to NAS).

Otherwise, there could be a high workload on the backed up drives at backup time.

Please read the respective KB article on how to overcome this issue.
