BSP

Thread needs solution

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me out with an acronym.  We're using Acronis 11.7 and I'm writing some user guides.  It references using bsp in the one step, but it doesn't spell it out anywhere.  I saw it was a network protocol, but saw a couple different ones with the same acronym and didn't want to chose the wrong one.  Any one know what it stands for?  Thanks!

Hi,

"bsp" ("backup server protocol") is an acronym for Acronis proprietary protocol used to access data in vaults (locations) managed by Acronis Storage Node. A backup agent accesses the vaults using bsp://ASN_address/vault_name path. If there are any additional details you may need please let me know.

Thank you.
