This situation is very interesting, I cant' backup directly from the Acronis Management Server, but if I connect to the remote machine through the Management Server I can backup, make plans and start the backup.

I tried everything I think is possible, but can't fix it.

Open every port and configuration I know to open access to the client directly from the Acronis Management Server but nothing works. But when I tried to connect to the client it connect without problem and them I can create plans and make backups and restorations in the client console remotely.

How can I connect to the client console from the Management Server Console but can't make a backup directly from the Management Server Console? The ports and the configurations are not the same?

Someone have the same issue?

I have the same problem! Don't know what to do.

I checked the IP address in the registred machine and it is different the actual machine IP. The machine IP is not fixed so it changes time to time. So I tried to delete the machine from the AMS and add it again and guess what? It work normally, without problem! That means the IP address have to be fixed to AMS and the client machine connect?

The antivirus and the others configurations are activated so it means the security tools and configurations have nothing to do about.

The AMS can't update the IP automatically? I have to fix the IPs of all machines?

Help!

Hello Sandro,

there was such an issue on the older builds of Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, please see https://kb.acronis.com/content/2857 , but it shouldn't affect the recent builds. If haven't updated to the latest build yet, it's worth doing so. Alternatively, you may want adding the managed machines via their UNC name instead of IP-address.

Hello Ekaterina,

Thank you for your comment,

I  update my Acronis Backup Advance 11.5 to 11.7 and the problem persist. So I search for information and find this link too. But, as I said, I updated to the 10.7 version and the problem persist. I also update the clients versions too and the problem persist. So I have no choice and fixing the clients IPs when I have time, it will be a long process, but is the only solution I could find.

For now, I can't update to 12 version for some technical issues, but the version 11 stil having the same issue to me.

Thank you
