Changing from 2TB trial to 1TB paid subscription

Thread needs solution

I have a 2TB trial of Backup to Cloud assigned to a server. I have purchased 1TB subscription but I cannot see anyway of activating that subscription. From the machine I back up, go to Actions/Activate - but then I receive a message about the subscription (1TB) being smaller than the existing (2TB).

So the question is - how can I activate the paid for subscription?

thank you for your posting and welcome to our forum!

The situation you faced is described in this article. According to current design trial subscription must match the full one to be successfully converted into a full one following this process.  Otherwise you'll have to contact our support.

As far as I see you activated your new full subscription through the product (not under account), which created a new online backup account. That is why you had to re-upload all the data.
