Exchange 2007 E000 log file not deleted after backup

Thread needs solution

We use Acronis 11.5 advanced server to backup our windows server 2008 with exchange 2007. Backups run well but we noticed that the drive was filling up.
There are over 200Gb of E000 log files in the Exchange server folder. I was under the impression that these log files would be automatically deleted after an "Exchange aware" backup was performed. So I have 2 questions -
Is Acronis 11.5 an "exchange aware" program and if yes - why is it not deleting these files?
If I'm confident that my Acronis backup is working (Which I am) - can I manually delete these files?
I've been spending many hour searching that last question and it's very vague.
Please let me know so I can free up some space.
Thank you -

You can move you question to the more appropriate forum section - 11.5 is discussed here http://kb.acronis.com/forums/acronis-business-products-discussions/acro…
What type of data do you back up? In 11.5 tehre is no 'exchange-aware' backup, like in vmProtect - there are separate disk level backup (like it was in previous version) and Information Store and Mailboxes backup, provided by a separate Agent for MS Exchange. Disk level backup doesn't truncate logs (in Update 1 there is an option to do so - using "VSS Full backup" in backup plan options - see http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/#12865.html
Certain types of Information Store backup truncates logs - see http://www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#18303.h… .
