Failing to lock a file..  Where do I change the force snapshot setting?

I've read in another post, that when acronis says "failure to lock a file" that I should change the setting on acronis to force a snapshot.  But I have no idea where that setting is.  Can someone please give me directions where to find this?  Also, I've read that there is a flaw, and deleting the backup plan, change the options of vms to 2 (this is not a vm, but what I read said it was a bug work around) where do I set that?

We have 6 machines with Acronis Backup Advanced for PC 11.7.

The one I'm having trouble with, is the centralized vault/ management machine.  Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

STEPS I've taken: I've removed agent from AMS.  Deleted the backup plan.  Deleted the centralized vault and all backups.  Re-added to AMS (no errors), Added back centralized vault (added quickly no problems), setup a backup plan - and it fails at about 96%.

By the way, reading the error below, gives me the impression that acronis created a file and then can not rename the file it created?  If so, is there an update to fix these bugs?

Hello T G Bles,

thank you for your posting! The situation, when the product cannot modify the meta-data files or the backup archive, usually occurs due to the files being locked by the antivirus software. So first of all I'd recommend adjusting the settings in your antivirus as per https://kb.acronis.com/content/36429 ( here https://kb.acronis.com/content/46430 you can also find instructions for particular antivirus programs).

If the issue still persists, you can also use ProcessMonitor tool to see what processes access the files at the time of failure.

On a side note, if you back up network shares, note that it's not possible to create snapshots of network resources, see https://kb.acronis.com/content/2954. Here you'll find information about file-level snapshot and how to manage its settings https://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisBackup_11.7/#1283.html
