Hi,

I am having issues installing Acronis 11.5 Agent for Windows. The Acronis 11.5 Agent Core installs with no issues.

When I try and install I get the console message 'The installation was interrupted before Acronis Backup could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again'.

I have attached the log file that was created during the installation process and welcome any help in getting this installed and working.

For your information the server is an old Windows 2000 SP4 server that manages a plant area and is due in time to be replaced with Windows 2012 R2 but until that time materialises I need to protect this.

Thank you for your posting! In the attached log file I found the following entries:

MSI (c) (EC:E8) [10:49:50:921]: Note: 1: 2262 2: Error 3: -2147287038 DEBUG: Error 2826: Control Line2 on dialog FatalErrorForm extends beyond the boundaries of the dialog to the right by 3 pixels The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package.

It seems that the issue is caused by the corrupted installation file. I would suggest to download the installation file anew (disable antivirus or other security tools if any), or try to download the file from another machine. Check the md5 sum of the downloaded file. Then re-attemp the installtion.
