No clone option on bootable Rescue Disk created using Acronis Backup Advanced for Hyper-V 11.5?
Hi Everyone,
I have Acronis Backup Advanced for Hyper-V 11.5 installed onto my Windows 2012 Standard Server.
I want to use it to clone the contents of my RAID array to a single disk. Towards this end I created a custom Recovery Disk (with appropriate RAID drivers), and booted from it. Unfortunately I am not seeing any 'Clone Disk' options on the boot disk. Attached are a couple of screen shots which show the menu which is presented.
I made the assumption that the Acronis product which I am using would operate in a similar fashion to the one in the link below -
https://kb.acronis.com/content/6323
Unfortunately when I right clicked on the disk within 'Disk Management' there was no option to 'Clone basic disk' (as shown in 'no_clone_disk_option.jpg', attached)!
Does the product I am using have the ability to clone disks from a bootable rescue CD? If so why am I not seeing a clone option in the menu? If not what product can I use?
Any help here will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
David
