PE-based bootable media and recovery

Thread needs solution

Hi

I have an issue with Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7 ( Server 2016). I want to full back up from entire physical computers (Windows 10) to recover backups in case of an operating system that cannot start. This is my Scenario:

1- I create a full backup of the entire client.
2- After install ADK 1609, I created a PE-based bootable media on the acronis server
3. I booted the client with bootable media and select the recovery option. After that, I Browse the Acronis server and select the folder containing the backups. But When choosing the folder that contains the backup archive, the size of this backup is 0 byte and even with click on the Refresh button, there is no change in it.

any help is much appreciated.

Hi!
Thank you for your posting!
Have you validated the backup after creation? 0 bytes size could be result of issues with the archive integrity.
Is it possible to browse and recover data from this backup in Windows?
Where is backup physically located? Have you tried placing it to a different storage location (if it lies on a network location, try to place the backup on a locally attached storage)
