Recovery Failure “Applying AUR”

Thread needs solution

Disk 2 in my client’s machine is failing, 3TB, GPT, one partition full size. I had intended to clone using the bootable media until I discovered that there is no support for cloning GPT disks. Prior to the clone attempt I had the whole system backed up using disk images, so I simply had them boot back into Windows and attempt to restore the disk image for Disk 2 to the replacement disk. This restore failed with the following message:

Command 'Recovering volumes/Managing ASZ/Applying AUR' has failed.

Have I improperly selected some Universal Restore component or configured my recovery incorrectly?

Unfortunately as this system is mission critical, I do not have time to fiddle around with recovery settings, I accepted defaults under the assumption that they would be correct, if they are not, I need to be accurate this time around.

Log text attached.

Name of restore command is always 'Recovering volumes/Managing ASZ/Applying AUR' even if AUR is not used. The error tells that recovery process terminated unexpectedly. Are there any other errors from that time period in logs->events in management console ?
