[RESOLVED] Acronis needs Authentication for Backing up Exchange 2013

Hi,

I installed the newest Version of ABR 11.5 with the Exchange Add On on my new Server.

It's a Windows 2012 R2 with a Echange 2013 on it.
The backups works fine but I'm unable to backing up the Exchange Database.

I created a user named "Acronis" with the permissions in the Administrator Guide (Exchange Organization Management). When I create the Task for backing up the database (there is only one) everything seems fine. But when the job starts, it goes up to 3% and then fails with the following log:

Speichergruppe oder Datenbank 'Mailbox Database 0925462964' wird beim Backup auf dem Server 'DSCHPRVDUS.danisch.prv' übersprungen.

I tried everythig but I can't find the solution.

I'm wondering that Acronis said that it need Authentication credentinals to backing up.

Solved!

The solutions was that the service tast of the "Managed Machine Service" have to use the same credentials as the Task
