Restoring virtual machine to physical machine

Thread needs solution

I had installed Acronis B & R 11.5 Virtual Edition for Hyper-V but have been finding high and low for option to clone a live virtual machine to a physical machine. Can anyone enlighten me? Am I using the right product?

You need to create a backup of this virtual machine, then bott the physical machine from Acronis bootable media and restore this backup, with Universal Restore turned on .

Perform the steps given below:

1.) Boot th target machine with Acronis Bootable Media
2.) Select the backup which you want to recover
3.) Select Physical machine under Recovery type.

You may require the Acronis Universal Restore as the virtual machine backup would not contain the drivers for maintaining HAL with physical machine. You may require following hardware to maintain the hardware abstraction layer.

1.) Chipset (motherboard drivers)
2.) Network Interface Controller drivers
3.) USB Mass storage device drivers.
