Simultaneous backup of different drives/resources on same server

Hello. We have a rather large Exchange server (6.5 TB) with 12 mailstores. I had a single backup job that backed up all of the mailstores and replicated them to a secondary vault. The backup took about 6 days to complete, including replication.

In order to speed this up, I tried splitting the job into 4, each backing up 3 mailstores and replicating them. What I got from this is one job running with the other 3 queued. Is there any way of configuring the server or agent so that the backups can go simultaneously? Or perhaps to start the next job while the previous one is replicating?

There's got to be a better way for this. We are using Acronis Backup Advanced 11.7.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Hello Marc,

Welcome to Acronis forums! I'm afraid it's not possible to run multiple jobs in parallel unless you back up virtual machines. Simultaneous VM backup is supported for VMware and Hyper-V machines.

In particular, more than one backup task cannot run simultaneously on a machine. A backup task and a recovery task also cannot run simultaneously, if they use the same resources. Once the other task unlocks the resource, the waiting task will start.
