Specific offsite backup fails

Dear Acronis,

Currently we have Offsite backups and one specific is failing.

- I already re-added the Storage node from the other Acronis machine (the machine where the backups are saved)

- As a test I also created new job, did not work

This is the error message given:

Hello David,

thank you for your posting! Hm, in my experience this error message usually indicated some issues with connection between components. Interruptions in the connection may be caused by

  • different build versions on components - make sure all Acronis components are on the same build - better to install the latest update
  • necessary ports blocked by Firewall - check out https://kb.acronis.com/brandmauer You may want using the telnet https://kb.acronis.com/content/7503 to test availability of ports
  • to exclude any issues with DNS, on the machine with Agent open  \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and add the IP address of ASN 

If the issue still persists, I'd recommend raising a support ticket for the more in-depth investigation.
