Tasks keeps running und cannot be stopped

Hi guys,

i've some problems with my AMS.
The environment is 2 physical ESXI hosts und 1 physical with Windows Server 2008R2 (with the AMS and Storage Node). AMS is connected to vCenter to manage/backup both ESXI hosts with their VMs.

Version is 11.5 Update 4 Build 11.5.38774

Some jobs keeps working perfect but 2 jobs are hanging.
"job1" at 0% backing up the information store of an exchange 2013sp1 vm. Working perfectly before
"job2" at 37% backing up some virtual desktops also working perfectly before.

At this point these jobs are hanging und dont change their state. After a restart of the AMS Server the jobs keeps in this state. Other jobs are working correct. Im not able to delete those hanging jobs.

What happend und what can i do to solve this?

I try:
- Restart AMS
- Checked log for critical errors
- Tried new with new backupjobs for the affected machines (new jobs keep at 0%, dont start and could not be stopped too.

Hi Christian,

Likely there are problems with the state of the Acronis Agents which are installed inside the affected machines (the Exchange 2013sp1 VM for example), i.e. they are not interacting with AMS properly. Please capture Acronis system report outputs as described in https://kb.acronis.com/content/36248 (from both AMS and affected machines) and contact our support team for assistance.
