Unable to add machine to the Management Server

Thread needs solution

I am unable add a client server to the Acronis Management server. https://kb.acronis.com/content/27521

I have tried the following knowledge base but still unable to resolve the issue.

Is there any other way to fix this problem?

Hi Alex,

I ran into the same issue. In my case, the license server name had changed (unbeknownst to me).

Here's what I did to fix this:

a) Log on to the management server and go to options>license server.
b) Verify the name to make sure it exactly matches the servers FQDN.
C) If they match I would do a quick ping test in both directions. If you are not on a domain, update the appropriate host files.
d) try re-adding the agent to the management server (I did this through the management server but you should also be able to add it from the agent)

Hope this helps!

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your posting! I would also suggest adding the components (License Server and Agents) via IP-address, this should resolve the issue. Please also check if all these prerequisites are met on all involved machines. Here you will also find detailed information on privileges for centralized management.

Thank you,
