Unknown driver error
I recently had to recover a server to a new host with the same model number and hardware. I got this message after the restore was complete:
Device driver 'PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7020&SUBSYS_00015853&REV01' for Windows Server 2003, Standard cannot be found.
The new host has the exact same harware. I beleive this is a NIC driver. I tried to start the machine and the windows loading screen never goes away. We let the server try to load for almost 24 hours before we force shut it down. How can I find out what driver Acronis is reffering to?
Any advice is appreciated.

Hello Richie,
Does the machine boot successfully despite the messages? Have you tried booting to the OS?
Could you share more details on the scenario:
- What OS is in the backup? Was the original machine BIOS or UEFI?
- Do you restore the backup to the dissimilar hardware?
- Does the recovery end successfully?
- Are you using the latest available build?
Thank you,
