What license for RHEL and guest OS?

Thread needs solution

Hi everybody

I have a doubt, If I have a Linux Server Red Hat 6.x with additional guest OS (KVM with RHEL 6.x):

1. I need two Linuex Servers
2. I need one RHEV license

Thanks for your comments
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

The correct option would be #2 - one RHEV license allows backing up both host and unlimited number of VMs from this host (see http://www.acronis.com/en-us/company/licensing.html ). The VMs on RHEV host are backed up by an agent installed inside the VM.

Thank you.
