Archive file format tib or multiple files

I have been using Acronis backup for VMWare version 9 and have installed Acronis backup 12. In the for vmware version 9 you can select an option for a single file archive TIB or multiple files. 

I can not see an option when creating a backup plan in 12 to choose the archive type. It appears the default is a single file TIB. Unfortuately when replicating your backup folder a small daily increment requires uploading the complete tib file which is unaceptable.

It would be great if someone could advise if it is possible to configure for multiple files, thanks.

Hello,

It can be selected in 'Schedule' section - if 'Always incremental' is selected, single-file archive is used, and multi-file otherwise. Note that it can't be changed betseen single-file and multi-file for existing backup plan.

I must have been working with a default plan and as you say could not change it. I have created some new plans with custom schedules so I will see how they go.

I also think that I was confused by always incremental and expected each increment to be a separate file.
