Hi,

My server has not yet made a successful backup.

I get Backup Fails with I/O Error along with:

Error Code 22, Module 309

Error Code 41, Module 307

Error Code 53, Module 309

Error Code 3, Module 329

My job that backs up to Acronis Cloud works fine, this is a local job backing up to an RD1000 drive mounted as D:.

Any ideas?

I have to say Acronis Tech Support is useless. I had an email promising a phone-call but it was never made.

Scott

Hi Scott,

The I/O error is related to the RD1000 device used as backup storage. In Acronis Backup 11.5 there was a known issue that FlushFileBuffers native Windows API function returned an error while writing data to RDX devices and this caused backup to fail, however this issue had been fixed quite a lot of time ago, so unless you're using some old version of Acronis Backup, the problem should be somewhere else.

Could you please let me know your Acronis support case ID in a private message, so that I can check the records and see what went wrong with your request? Further investigation will be likely required.

Thank you.
