Bootable Media Builder - no licence available

Thread needs solution

I am running Acronis Backup 12 with SP1.

I am trying to build a CD boot disc, but cannot add a licence to the media.

The first step in the Bootable Media Builder is to add the licence keys, but the wizard will only show the Trial licence.

This worked previously before SP1. Is there some trick here that I am missing, as without the licence on the media, I will not be able to actually restore the backup onto my PC.

Thanks,

Ross

Ross,

There are no such known issues in our records. Probably the problem has to deal with the license information recorded on the machine where you run the media builder. It makes sense to contact our support team for assistance with this issue.

Also note that bootable media _always_ allows recovery regardless of the license type - the only thing which is blocked is backup (thus offline backup is impossible with trial media).

P.S. Remember that you can download the .iso of the bootable media right from your account management at www.acronis.com (this media allows recovery only).

Thank you.
