today we tried to add a Windows Server to Acronis Backup 12. It installs the Agent but now we got a error by the step "Maschine xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx wird dem Management Server hinzugefügt". We think this is because of missing ports in the firewall and we want to fix it. But before we do this we want to cancel the task. But this does not function. Everytime we click "Cancel" he cancels the task but then create it new and new and new......

Is there any limitiation of retrys or how can i stop this ? A server reboot does nothing. He immediately starts it again.

Hello again,

we now have the endless job cancelled. we have shutdown all the acronis services on the target machine and then the job noticed that he cannot contact the mms service and stopped. but now we have two unfinished jobs running (screenshot) that we cannot cancel. services stopping on the backup server or a reboot do not effect these. what else can we do to stop all unfinished jobs ?

by the way: what ports need to be opened between the target machine and the backup server. i instructed my firewall admin to open ports 445, 25001 and 9876 in both directions. are there more ?

Hi Sven,

The hanged activities should be gone after restarting Acronis Management Server service (assuming that you have local installation). The ports you listed should be sufficient for remote installation and registration of the agent, so the problem must be somewhere else and you should contact our support team for further assistance.

Hello,

no, a restart of the Acronis Management Service do not fix the hanging activities. A whole server restart do not fix it as well. So i have opened a case by your support team and wait for answer.
