How to clear stored credentials?

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have one device that completely ceased to start backup with message "The credentials for "//network share/folder" are incorrect".
The device is physical Windows Server 2012R2 with Active Directory. It worked few days and then stopped, probably when I tryied to define different backup plan.

All other devices are successfully backed up there.

I tryed to redefine target folder (to the same one), defined new backup plans and even deleted and recreated the device - nothing helps. As a side note, there is no option to choose NFS as backup target for both Windows servers I have. Not sure whether it was available before.

My guess is try to clear the stored credentials for this device to start over.
Something else?

Thank you in advance,
Leonid.

Hi Leonid,

From the description it's unfortunately unclear what exactly goes wrong. I can only guess that you're specifying network share as \\name\share , while "name" is not resolved to IP address from the backed up machine and thus the solution would be to apply a new backup plan to this machine, but this time specify the network share using IP address. If this is not the case then please contact our support team for assistance (it's also possible with the trial).

Thank you.

Hi Leonid,

NFS is only supported in Linux or Mac environments (Management Server), see Selecting a destination in help docs.
