issue adding another device to management server

Thread needs solution

I have a management server on a windows 10 machine. That is used to backup that machine. I have added a linux server backup to the same management server. I gave this device a license. But when I click on the device to setup the backup, theres already a backup there. I delete it, it deletes my original backup of the windows 10 machine. 

 

I recreate the windows 10 configuration, go back to the linux backup and once again there is a configuration there from the windows 10 machine. Instead of deleting it this time I just chose to configure new. Once the new configuration was completed the windows 10 conf disapeared and both the windows 10 and linux configurations were as they should be. 

 

I tried again to replicate the issue, and once again it happened. I tried signing out of the web portal and that had no effect. 

 

I'm glad this is testing purposes only, as if I removed my backup config thinking it was my linux config it would be very upsetting.

From your description it's unfortunately not clear what exactly happened and what went wrong. Can you please capture some screen shots illustrating how you reproduce the issue and attach them to the thread?
