True Image Backup Mounter Monitor loads Twice in W7 Processes

Thread needs solution

Hi,

Does anybody else have this observation?  Upon booting my Windows 7 (64-bit) system, I get two TibMounterMonitor.exe *32 files loaded.  They are exactly the same Image Name, User Name and Memory.  Is this correct?  If not, what would cause any driver to load twice (redundantly) into memory like this?

Chris

Hi Christopher,

This behavior doesn't mean that any drivers are loaded twice and no problems should be caused. The 2 instances appear in Task Manager beacause TIBMounterMonitor.exe process startup is defined under 2 registry keys while it should be only under the 1st one:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKLM\Software\WOW6423Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

This appears to be a minor bug which I've reported to our QA and development teams. Other than presence of the process twice in Task Manager there should be no problems though (hence the priority of the bug is low).

Thank you.
