Wrong Time in Anntotations

Thread needs solution

Hello,

right now we're playing around with Acronis Backup 12 in our environment and did a couple of backup jobs. One thing we noticed is that after a backup a wrong time is set in the Annotations field "Last backup". For example a backup job was finished at 18:26 and the time in the field displays 17:26. every time it is one hour before the german real time. I looked in the settings of the appliances but there is the right timezone set (berlin) and the management server runs on a german windows server. its not a big thing but i thought i reported it so it can be fixed.

Best regards Sven

Hello,

its a german windows server synchronised with our ad domain controller. the domain controller gets it time from a ntp server. everywhere is german timezone defined as you can see in the screenshot. we noticed that the behavior with the wrong time is not limited to the backup time field. even our created backup plan, which should start at monday 11 am, has started one our later at 12 am.

in addition: the logs show the right time. there it says that the task started at 12 am, but in the backup task config we defined 11 am.

It's possible that appliance igrnores timezone settings and tasks are executed on the appliance as if it were in GMT+0 time zone.  In one reported case the problem disappeared after appliance was rebooted. Can you try it?

Hello,

we can try this. But at the moment we see a very strange behavior. We have one appliance for each of our clusters (production/test) and a backup-plan for every cluster (production/test). the production plan is set to start at 17 pm and the test at 18 pm. the production plan startet at 17 pm but the test plan starts at 19 pm. i have absolut no idea why.

best regards sven

Hello again,

we have restarted both of our appliances and now it seems that the start time of the backup jobs is correct. we've created test backup plans and let them start at 9 and 10 am. both started at the configured time, we will observe it the next days. the entry in the annotations of each vm is still wrong. it is one hour before the regular german time.
