Acronis Backup contents taking long time to load

Thread needs solution

Our Customer is  using Acronis Backup and Recovery 12.5 (the latest build), and the backup process seems to be working fine.  The challenge he has run into is that whenever he wants to select a file/folder to recover in a recovery task, it takes an exceptionally long time to browse through the "backup contents" - it takes at least 15 minutes every time he clicks on the + symbol to navigate further down the tree (while the "Loading..." circle continually spins).

actual data size is 37TB, after backup its almost 20 TB

The backup files are located locally on a the Same Server where Acronis Management console is running .

This could be when a backup chain is too long (it consists of many incremental backups and the full one was created a long time ago). Thus, the software has to open and analyze the data changes in all these incrementals and full archives.

In order to minimize the browsing time, we recommend that you optimize your backup scheme (run full backups more often) or select to recover files/folders from a full backup.
