Appliance rate limit
With Backup for VMware appliance, we were typically seeing 12MB-13MB throughput to our NAS. Our backup times for guests were staggered and ran fine without overlapping for years.
With the 12.5 appliance we've migrated to, we're seeing no more than 2MB throughput regardless if we're running a single backup or multiples. This is causing backups to overlap and thus performance issues.
The backup process priority is high and agent limit is disabled.
Are there other limitations or settings to look at?

Hi Vasily,
We're using vSphere 5.5.0 with the latest patches.
The appliance is provisioned to one of two hosts, being the same host that the original Backup for VMware appliance was provisioned where we received six to seven times the throughput performance on the same infrastructure.
Which backup log file, and where, as sampling logs suggested by KB60371 wasn't overly helpful.

Hi,
A regular log from backup operation would be most helpful. In addition to regular web console UI, the backup logs can be checked in \ServiceProcess\ folder inside captured system report from the agent which performs the backup - see https://kb.acronis.com/content/58301 on how to collect the system report. Quick instructions: go to "Devices" list -> Select the backed up VM -> open "Activities" tab on the right -> press "Collect system report" in the bottom - open the downloaded .zip file.
Thank you.
