Backup Cleaning failed

Thread needs solution

Hi, we use five RDX Cartridges for Backup with Acronis 12.5.7048 Standard Server.
Backup-Format also Version 12, single file with cleaning after 20 Backups.
Backup and Validation works without problem, but the cleaning failed with the error:
An unsupported URI is specified: 'Y:/#arl:/688D3829-D365-43EE-A31A-2CEA31152F8B/C106D38D-A8D9-4CD6-BCFD-12D75E1CD592/B07E25E0-D573-23F6-0177-D0819D0FD14B'.

With Acronis 12 the same job was running without problems?
Is there something changed in V 12.5?
How to clean the Backups?

Hi,

This is a known issue when cleanup task is running for backups located on USB drives (internal ID: ABR-130967). This bug is fixed in the upcoming Update 1 for Acronis Backup 12.5 which we plan to publish in the next couple of weeks.

So why haven't Acronis Support mentioned this to me already?

I've an open support case from 26/06/17 that Acronis Support are still trying to solve!

 

First line support is becoming next to useless!
