Backup doesn't start

Thread needs solution

Hi, 

When attempting to do a backup today, it didn't work.

When I click on "back up now" in the web console, I get a green spinning wheel but then nothing happens, it keeps loading and the backup never starts. 

It was working great until today, and I'm not sure what to do...Last successful backup was yesterday. I've set it to manual mode.

Note: just as I'm typing this, I just noticed that now my machine shows as "Offline" and appears greyed out. Why is that?

So if someone has a solution that would be great!

Hello Kim, 

If the machine is set to offline, it means that the Management Server hasn't received any communication from this agent. This can happen for any number of reasons: 

- Machine is turned off;

- Network issues; 

- Services are not started or not responding;

- etc. 

Since this was working previously, there is likely a problem with the services on the target machine. Could you check to see if the Management Machine Service is running?
