Backup Hanging
I installed update 2 and ever since then, the last 2 of my scheduled 5 jobs fail. Actually its the 4th job that hangs and never gets to the fifth.
I can cancel the 5th job but CANCEL doesn't work on the hanging job. CPU is NOT pegged at 100% and the server is responsive.
Suggestions? What service needs to be restarted?
Such a pain. Not impressed.

Below are the screen shots of the activity. I was able to cancel the yellow highlighted backup. The 12% one below it is stuck. Cancelling does nothing.

Below are the plans. They are backups of files / folders through a Windows agent.

Tom,
Thank you for the additional details - to check why exactly the task stucks the log of it should be checked on the agent side. The logs from all backup operations are stored each in separate text file in \ProgramData\Acronis\ServiceProcess\ folder. I'd guessed that the issue is related to inability to read some opened file from the network share source you're backing up, but the log should show more.
Thank you.

Is that a hidden folder? All I see under Acronis is:
...
...
scheduler
ServiceManager
ShellExtensions
...

I eventually had to restart the server. The backup failed and all I was able to do was download the log.
I have attached it here. The only log entries were from the day / time the backup started?

I recreated the backup plan for the machine that was hanging and it seems to be working. Will know for sure tomorrow.
