Backup Job hang at 54% and can't cancel even use the command

Thread needs solution

Hi All,

I Have a backup job hang at 54%. I have tried to cancel it in the backup management console, but it failed. I also tried to use the command "acrocmd stop activity -- host <hostname> --credentials=<credentials> --id=<id>". it returned " The Operation completed successfully. However the job still in the console.

Would you let me know is there any other way to stop this job?

Thanks

Hello Eric,

If the cancel operation failed with "activity cannot be found" or something like that, please check out the instructions below to remove the activity manually:

Thank you!

Hi Igor,

I have followed the tech note and change the running state to completed. However, i check it in the command line they still here.

I checked in the console the host state is still backing up.

I also tired to trigger a manual backup for this host. The backup jobs showed waiting for the completion of the other activities in order to start.

Hi Eric,

As the backup plans are managed through web console, the problem could be with delivering the commands from the web browser to the management server. It could be investigated using the browser logs, called HAR logs. Please collect those logs as per https://kb.acronis.com/content/58514 while reproducing the issue, as well as the standard “Acronis System Report” https://kb.acronis.com/content/58301 from the management server machine and contact us at http://www.acronis.com/support/contact-us.html

Thank you
