Backup Job Stucked
Hi everybody,
Does anybody know a way to stop a backup when it gets stucked? I have two warning already that the backup has failed:
But the activity is still stucked @ 44% not moving at all...
Pressing CANCEL do not stop the task... Can I stop it somehow so I can start over to check if it does the job correctly?
Thanks!

Hi No No!
Have you tried deleting the task from the command line? There are commands for manipulating (list, stop, delete) tasks that might work.

Thank you for your reply. Do you have the KB where those are specified? I did not try to do that, anyway I would like to know if that's the official way to do it from Acronis or not :)

I don't know if there's a specific KB for deleting tasks is the suggested action, but here is the reference for using the activity and task commands. Listing both would probably tell you which needs to be stopped

Hello No No,
thanks for posting this issue on Acronis forums!
Such issues with application lockups should be investigated by Acronis Support Team engineers. In order for our development team to troubleshoot a lockup, they need process dumps and other logs listed in this KB article, which should be collected right after issue reproducing.
Right after you collected the required logs (or if you do not plan to investigate the root of the issue), please stop the service_process.exe using Windows Task Manager.

Thank you for your reply Maria. Can you please provide the link to the KB article? The link points to the support page.
On the other hand... if I stop the service_process.exe will it stop as well the running tasks?
