Backup succeeded with warnings

Thread needs solution

Dear Users,

I start to use Acronis Backup Advanced 12.5 in my company where we install an Acronis Management Server to take care of Backups of Full HDD of Industrial PC's.

After installing and registering the Acronis Agents in the clients (PC's), I've created some Backup Plans to store data in a network share that belongs to another server in our LAN. Every procedures run well unless on o the Machines, that, at the end says the Backup has finished but with Warnings.

The error message is the following:

Backup succeeded with warnings

I reboot the PC and leave it in the Windows Login screen and run the Backup task again, but the result is the same. I've another PC that has the same hardware (completelly the same) and the Backup finishes without any warning.

For better troubleshotting, I attach the log file from this issue.

Any idea to help understanding this situation ?

Thanks in Advance.

Fernando Paulo Pinto

Hi Fernando,

The warning indicates Acronis volume tracker driver conflict with some of the installed 3rd party software. We've seen such symptoms when there was Symantec VSS provider installed on the same system and the Backup Options->Volume Shadow Copy settings of the Acronis backup plan were set to use this provider instead of default Microsoft one. Try changing the selection of VSS provider to "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider" and if it doesn't help then contact our support team for further assistance.

Thank you.
